Can anyone explain to me the subject above?

I'm having trouble with my sliding door staying shut. I will be riding
down the road when suddenly the door will pop loose and slide back, even
when it felt secure before starting and when the lock is "ON". I ha
tried to see how the lock catches and holds, but so far do ot understand
it. Doesn't seem to be any thing to positively grab and \cam down to
hold the door in place. This door has given me a bit of a prblem off and
on this way ever since I bought it in 1998, but lately it has gotten
really bad.
