Subject:Stalling and running rough

Still having problems with stalling and running rough.
Have been rooting around on the web and found the instructions for
checking the path back from the ECU to the sensors. All looks good
except.....
The throttle position switch that should close on no throttle and full
throttle is open circuit all the time, and the voltage from the hall
effect sensor which it say should be battery voltage, is a steady 0.1V
All readings taken with a good quality DVM.
Can anyone throw any light on.....
Where is the throttle position switch located?
Is the 0.1V correct. It doesn't seem to waver. I tweaked the starter to
make sure the sensor hadn't just stopped in the activated position, but
got the same again.
Anyone any ideas?
Many thanks in advance,
Stew.
