I believe all the NP's in Utah are open in the winter except the north rim of the Grand Canyon which is snowed in at 8000' +-. I have ski toured in Bryce in the winter-beautiful & very few folks. Zion can be 70 degrees in the day, 20's at nite. My feeling is that these areas are even more spectacular in the winter & a lot less hassle w/ the crowds, etc. Tom Buese Salt Lake City, Utah
