Hey everybody I was looking at new heads this weekend and I noticed quite a few that come with a yellow paint on the sealing surface to the gasket. What is the paint for? Does it help? Is it just a protective coating prior to install? Bad news is I might need new heads really soon, better plan on pistons and cyllinders as well. Maybe an engine swap is in the future if the rebuild is just as expensive. Thanks, Michael Knight '77 Westy Deluxe, "el Verde" '85 Vanagon GL, nameless
