Pulled the heads on my 2.1 yesterday to see if replacing the broken head
stud is worthwhile. It's not. Half of them are pitted and rusty, and I
suspect that the ones that look OK have been overheated too many times by
the PO to be trustworthy. Since I'm only marginally equipped to handle
pulling the head, swapping the engine myself is out of the question. Anyone
know a trustworthy mechanic in the western half of the Los Angeles area who
does engine swaps?
