Especially this one, on the SA vanagon:

When I look at the 5th image, I see the exhaust goes upfront (unless the
second pipe is the return pipe to the exhaust pipe).
Was the exhaust located on the right, center of the van? or at the back?

Does it make any sense to you?

PS: his fridge is of the best set up I have seen (but not cheap, for an
electrical only fridge).
