Subject:85 manual Clutch and more shifting woes...
From:David J. Bohannan

All,

Its been quite some time that I have been dealing with these shifting
problems...but the problem seems to be morphing into a couple things

Not only have I been having a hard time getting into gears (linkage?)
Now it seems at slow speeds that I can feel the clutch not completely
disengaging it sort of grabs a bit , but not enough to stall the engine.
At higher speeds I do notice that it seems it stays in gear until I pull
the shifter out of that gear my brother recommended bleeding the
clutchand I am going to get into that today

I also just topped off the fluid in the tranny although it only took
quart. I am planning on doing the Redline change but didnt think it
would make that big of a difference up frontam I wrong??

I am curious as to what else could be causing thissomeone else just
mentioned a pilot bearing!?!?

Thank you for ANY info you have

Dave
