I've had the unfortunate experience of having one of the brackets that
the vent window screws into, is stripped - so it seem my only choice at
this point is replacing the front window frame - which is okay, since I
happen to have a spare.

How hard is it to replace the window frame that the vent-window goes into?
Can anyone tell me how it is done?

Or should I just retap the bracket to a larger size and try to find a
larger screw to use?
