Okay, so as most of you know, I had a bit of problem with my SVX conversion on my Westy Syncro. Some of you might be wondering, are the hassles are worth it? Unquestionably. I'd do it again if something disastrous happened to this vehicle. Power is addictive, and the SVX engine is nearly all the power one could want. Nearly? The doubters ask? Yeah, well I will admit there were some grades in Montana that I was unable to maintain 80 mph (with the A/C going) in 4th gear. I did have a higher gear put in so as to reduce the rpms in 4th speed. This may be part of why I couldn't maintain speed. It could also have been the 6%+ grade.... Now that I have all my seats in, the vehicle doesn't feel quite so light footed at the front end.
