Another attribute - Good Brakes!  How can anyone call a car a sports car
without good brakes?

Let's suggest a qualification for the name "Sports Car" as a car that
*could* compete in a high speed sports car race without major modifications
and without being particularly dangerous to it's driver.

That's one reason I could never call the Carmen Ghia (& Dauphine & others) a
sports car.  It's brakes would be fading after one hard driven circuit.
