Has anyone installed a VW I-4 conversion in an auto. Can you use the Kennedy adaptor w/ the other diesel parts? After taking a good look at the donor westy we found (and getting permission from the wife) I'm tempted to convert it or install a rebuilt engine instead of chopping the top. I'd love to hear from anyone who's done a VW conversion w/ and automatic. john
