Hi All:

I'm having some trouble with my '87 2wd 4 spd. Specifically, shifting
into 4th gear. I can do 1, 2, 3 just fine, but it requires some force
and finesse to hit 4. I have trouble shifting out of it too. I split the
linkage shaft at the universal joint and detected a good bit of
resistance from the transmission end of it, while the shifter side moved
freely. Is this the 3-4 slider thing?

Anyone?
