Hey Folks-- My wife is getting tired of me taking my time selling the car, and you know how that plays out. So I'm dropping the price to $3,400--the blue book value--hoping to attract some quick interest from people who know and love Vanagons. I'll consider any reasonable offer. Time to move on. Again, this is no Westy or camper, no pop-top, etc. Just a fine old, smooth running, good condition Vanagon. (Oh, and if you're some guy in Europe who wants to pay with a "cashiers check" for a higher amount than the asking price and then have me send the difference back in cash, don't bother.) Here's the basics: 129,420 actual miles. White with Gray Interior. Four-speed manual. Great Ride: Runs very smooth and quiet; good condition in and out. Power windows/doors locks/mirrors. AC (front and rear outlets). Cruise control. Rear defroster. AM/FM Cassette Stereo (front & rear speakers). Michelins. Complete front brake job (pads, calipers, the works) 2,000 miles ago; new thermostat and housing last March. I'm 2nd owner. Problems: Small dent right rear fender; sliding door doesn't lock-in-place open; carpet and upholstery could use cleaning). Price: $3,400 neg. Location: Northern Virginia. Email: elevenhalf@aol.com Phone: 703-893-3856.
