<P>Hi Chuck,</P>
<P>Fortunatley, I do not have to do any of those things.&nbsp; The Syncro is equipped with all the mechanics, engine, Tranny, steering, all with 60,000 original miles!&nbsp; All I am taking from the wolfsburg is the trim, windows, interior, handles, doorlocks, etc....&nbsp; i will then rebuild the wolfsburg engine and keep on a shelf for a back up.&nbsp; the tranny on the wolfsburg is poop!&nbsp; everything else i will sell from the wolfsburg and then enjoy my syncro-wolfsburg-westy crossbreed!</P>
<P>thanks</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;Jason, I certainly don't mean to rain on your parade, but you will have
<DIV></DIV>&gt;some serious work mounting the regular transmission from the Wolfsburg
<DIV></DIV>&gt;to the Syncro body. Take a look at the two of them. I think the best
<DIV></DIV>&gt;thing to do here would be to obtain the transmission from a Syncro,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;along with various and sundry Syncro specific parts to mount it, and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;install that in the body you have. There will also be some engine parts
<DIV></DIV>&gt;from a Syncro, and some hoses &amp; pipes that you will need.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; You will also need to modify the front suspension/steering rack mount,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;but this at least isn't quite so difficult.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;You can do it! It is, however, a real serious project.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
