I was talking recently with a Vanagon owner/mechanic and he said the best way to keep a water cooled Vanagon running in heat is to install an aftermarket oil cooler. Has anyone had any experience with this? He mentioned units that were designed for the old porsche/vw work well with late model Vanagons. Any truth to this? Whats the cost for these units? Installation a do it yourself job or a do you need a pro? Whats the estimated cost? Thanks, Robert NYC
