Hi , I have an 83 1/2 waterboxer , My engine coolant expansion tank has a 1/2 inch long tube coming off the neck of the tank , the hose that leads from the expansion tank to the filler tank fits over this tube .
  Unfortunately this tube got busted off the neck of the tank, now I have nothing to clamp my hose onto . 

My question is, would JB weld be something that would work effectively , reliably and durably to reattatch my nipple/ tube to my expansion tank?

Any thoughts or ideas welcome
