To make a T3 Type 2 reliable... Replace Bosch electric components with Japanese units... steering column/switchgear ditto... cut out electric window regulators with inner door-panels and weld into VW doors... replace trans with Porsche 915 or preferably G50 (Syncro? Fit Carrera 4 G50 & front diff)... replace engine, most logically with Subaru boxer or Porsche wasserboxer... Expensive? Nah!
