I did actually jump a loaf van (71) at one point...spot I used to jump my rabbit habitually, had just bought it and wasn't thinking when I hit the "ramp" (railroad track in kirkland)got about a good 20 ft or so of air, landed, the tires held, but were never the same. Had to replace my drivers seat though...and buy a "donut" :oD Tromper 1982 Dieselfant II "The Manatee" -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of Jerry McCavitt Sent: Sunday, December 22, 2002 8:45 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: How Do I Jump My Westfalia Find a nice, long hill, and build a 4-foot ramp at the bottom, at about 30 degrees inclination, you should be able to get about 25-30 yards of air time. Make sure you take a video of it, and post it to the list.... can't wait to see this! ;-) Happy Holidays to everyone! Jerry McCavitt '86 Syncro GL 15" --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
