My 86 vanagon with 176,000 miles may have a terminal problem. The tranny
slips badly in 2nd gear. 1st & 3rd are fine.  The van has lots of
problems I don't wont to spend a lot of money on it. It's my first VW I
hate to see it go out like this. Can someone recommend a tranny shop in
Miami Fl that Knows VW?
   The motor runs strong anybody got a vanagon with a bad motor in the
Miami area? A case of beer and a big hammer & I got a weekend project or
two junk vanagons.
