Hola, at the junkyard last week I came across a diesel vanagon. It had a plastic air intake located behind the vents in the upper left rear pillar, and a flexible conduit down to the air filter canister. Did the wasserboxer have a similar setup? When I removed mine and replaced it with a tiico, the only intake apparatus was an "elbow" tube that went from the air filter box to the fiber cutout that blocks off the cavity behind the R-side taillight. Should I add the air intake inside the rear pillar? Seems like this might cut down on noise some. FWIW, the Tiico is running great, has lots of power. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Gracias, Jeff
