When i was shopping for Westy's about a year ago (before i bought the "Mystery Machine"), i found a guy in Portland Maine who had a Corrado engine in a beautiful Maroon Syncro Westy. It had a raised engine lid... but other than that mod he reported great performance and also good gas mileage. He said he didn't push it, just drove it like you would a Westy... but never had to just slam his foot on the floor and steer ;-) Was asking 22.5 for the vehicle. Had an offer by the time i found him. I often wonder what became of that vehicle. -jspeer '89 Westy, "Mystery Machine"
