My family and I crossed into Canada in our '87
Westy at Grand Portage, MN for a three day outing
in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (highly
recommended destination BTW) September 2000
without a problem.  In August 2001 entered Canada
at Sault Ste. Marie and then left Canada near
Montreal three days later, again no troubles.
