Robert, that is a cool discription of what does what and how to check it on the fuel injection system. Though it was not addressed to me, it really made clear a lot of things and racheted up my knowledge of our beloved vans. This is why this List is so great. The positive side of the injectors are always hot when the key is on. When the engine is running, the injectors are controlled by the negative side of the circuit form terminal 12 of the ECU. > If you have power at the relays, check again for power at the positive terminals of the injector plugs. > Terminal 87 is the load side of a relay. Terminal 30 is the Positive constant power terminal. 85 is Negative terminal, 86 is key-on power. Wwhen you turn the key-power is switched to 87, and this energizes the fuel injector positive side. > > CHeck all your connections again especially those at the relays in the black box. Check to see that the power supply from the coil to the relay box are connected right. This will check total resistance of all four injectors including wiring to the ECU and power supply relay(key-off for this test). > Resistance should be 3-5 OHMS. >
