Greeting from another CT Vanagoner.  As for parts, here's some thoughts.
First, Chris (jordanvw@aol.com) always seems to have one for sale.  He is
located near Allentown, PA.  If not, you may want to call Ray Smith Motors
in Danbury.  He runs a good VW shop, having had him work on my 1985 Vanagon,
1982 VW Rabbit PU, and my '90 Vanagon Carat.  In any case, he had a few
campers which he might be parting out, as well as some weekenders.  I don't
have his number handy, but check information for Ray Smith Motors, or RSM on
Osborne St in Danbury.
