Hi folks, In light of recent discussion, I was considering a conversion that could allow my van to run on vegetable oil. Because technically, fossil fuels are animal by-products in part. I have a friend who tried this and he said corn oil is inferior to oil obtained brussel sprouts. He typically saved some of this high octane oil for those long mointain passes in Colorado. Coincedentally it is best to run these lean burning engines at about 4200-4800 rpm's in 3rd gear for maximum output and to prevent lugging :) Sorry, couldn't resist!
