1985 Westfalia, Water-Cooled, 1.9l Way too smug doing my first oil change by myself, I replaced the exact amount called for in the specs instead of stopping short to check. Thus I overfilled it by around 1/2 an inch on the oil dipstick. The oil registers up to the little twist above the MAX notch. A 300 mile drive tomorrow, should I worry about the overfill (ie drain it and put the correct amount back in) or not before I go? Yes, I'm an engine idiot (but learning). Thanks for your thoughts. -rp _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
