Subject:Oil Light On Continued
From:John Flaherty

Hi All,

Thanks to all who've replied. My mechanic has had a chance to look at it
briefly. There is no electrical problem. The light is accurate; the engine
has no oil pressure.

Ideas on what could have failed that suddenly would be appreciated. Mechanic
feels that the pressure relief valve may have been clogged with a dirt
particle. (Also suggested by a listmember). His first suggestion is to
change the oil and filter and hope I get lucky. If that fails he'll have to
dig into it.
