Subject:header exhaust CO concerns

Hello folks,

My bus is in need of a new exhaust, So I had pretty much decided on new
heater boxes, and the four tip GT monza style exhaust system from bus
boys. ( 210-25023 Exhaust System with 4 Tips $87.98 at
http://www.bus-boys.com/performexsyt.html#replace . However, I just
found this article,
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vintagebus/message/17007 , i t warns about
the dangers of getting carbon monoxide in the cab when using non factory
exhaust systems, Basically, the argument is that exhaust systems that
dump exhaust straight out the back rather than out the side, deposit
carbon monoxide into the turbulent air behind the bus, where it is
sucked back in through the engine porthole and other holes and vents.
What do you folks think? Is this a valid theory, or should I just bolt
on my four chrome tipped system and not worry about it?

Thanks folks,

Greg,
