Hello folks,

A plain and simple question for y'all: What causes clutch chatter? I
recently installed a rebuild in my '88 Vanagon and am suffering from
some bone jarring chatters when engaging the clutch in first or
reverse. The engine runs beautifully but I fear I didn't install it
properly.
