Hi,

I've noticed that the intake manifold connectors are pretty dried out and
have a lot of cracks in them.  Before I reinstall the manifold, I'd like to
replace them.

Camelback VW wants $6.40 (after discount) each for them, and I can't see
much, if any, difference between them and 2" pieces of 2" (approx.) coolant
hose.  Is there any good reason to get the proper parts?
