Hi , I"m from vancouver BC and need to re-power my westy(1.9).  I droped the
motor yesterday and and started the search for options.  I've priced out
rebuilds from $2000 to $3000, full rebuilds, lower end new rings, higher end
new pistons and cylinders. Alternately I could buy a longblock from cal
imports for 2500, it is from GEX.
   I would appreciate some feedback from those who have gone either route
and your experience with GEX. Also any locals with good/bad thing to say
about the various shops in Van please contact me.
