Subject:Re: Rusty Bus Depot Gas Tank

It was not bad gas. There is rust formed along the
bottom of the tank, virtually the entire bottom of the
tank. What I'm not sure is if something that I put in
the tank, ie kid-tested, Bulley-approved Marvel's
Mystery Oil, might have damaged whatever liner the
tank had when it arrived from TBD.

Anyone else have problems with the tank? (It is made
in China, maybe I should ship it back in protest of
the hostage situation.)

Overall, I'm not real happy with the tank. I have it
out of my bus and plan on relining, probably with the
POR kit. I'm not real impressed with the Kreme liner.
If I knew I was going to need to line the tank, I
probably would have lined a very good used tank I
found.

In any event, I would not have purchased the $800-900
german tank. Moreover, I would have probably not been
upset with the tank had I known ahead of time that I
needed to line it.

Anyone else have good or bad experiences with the POR
or Kreme liners (or any other liner)?

I'm in nomail mode, so any replies should be cc'ed to
me at mrnimmo@yahoo.com
