I'm glad you got through it. Sounds like you did the right thing.

As far as the road rage goes I mention this to the list just so we all think
a little before we let ourselves escalate a situation like the one Chris was
in--or worse instigate a situation. Because really traffic altercations are
not worth it.

I just found out, and read in the Reno paper that a guy I was hiking with in
Lake Tahoe this summer (he was a friend of a friend there) was shot 9 times
at his home this week when a guy he had had a traffic altercation with a few
days earlier came to his house for revenge. He's in critical but stable
condition last I heard, but I don't know exactly how bad his condition is. A
29 year old guy shot 9 times with a 9mm. So say a prayer for James if you do
that sort of thing.

Keep your cool and if goaded don't take the bait. Get home at the end.

That's my advice.
