On an '84 with 1.9L engine, is the alternator mounting bracket held to the engine with studs or bolts? I found my alternator hanging loose tonight and found that one of the two bolts (or studs) was missing and the other sheared off. I am hoping to get one bolt in so that I can get to work tomorrow.
