Last winter the smell of maple syrup from the rear heater was getting worse,
so I replaced the rear heat exchanger.  It was leaking some, but with the
new exchanger, I can't discern any leaks.  Yet when I  turned the rear
heater on this morning, there is still the smell of maple syrup.  Is this a
problem that I shouldn't be concerned with, or is there something else
wrong?
