Funny you brought up sliding doors.  My new vanagon's door is very hard to
close- I have to really push down hard on the handle to get it to unlatch
from the open-position clip.  The interior handle is easy though, so I've
gotten in the habbit of closing the door by first grabbing the interior
handle and unhooking it so it starts sliding.

any advice?
