I'm thinking of purchasing a syncro camper... However, it's the type that is
always engaged in 4wd. This leads to some questions:

1. What kind of mileage does one of these get, as opposed to the 2wd/4wd
lockable hub type? For that matter, what kind of mileage does a westy get in
general?

2. Would it be advisable to try and swap in lockable hubs? How expensive is
this proposition?

3. What's the concensus on maintenance costs for a westy 2wd, 4wd lockable, 4wd
always on?
