distilled water knocks holes in copper pipe... in one anecdote copper pipe
had to be replace by Plastic pipe at a military base in New England because
we could not keep the copper pipe from corroding... it would leak again
within six months of replacement... distilled water at ambient
temperature.was all that there was going through that piping...
