I think many of us are looking for additional storage space in our vanagons. I have been looking for used door "pockets" and have not had luck finding black ones to match my gray interior. I found a reasonable substitute in the J.C.Whitney catalogue. They are hard plastic like the one that comes with the vanagon and are available in three or four colors including black. They cost under $10 each. I purchased two and installed one on each front door. The installation was simple. The outer edge of the hard plastic shell has four holes and I was able to complete the installion with just a screw driver. I installed them below the "silver" trim strip and just in front of the vent. There is no interference with the seat or door and the glove box opens as it did before the installation. Dianne
