Bill,
     I believe all VW's that had Heidleburg radios installed have the security
code in them, but my experience is with an '89 Golf, a '95 Jetta, and 2 '97
Jettas. I don't see why VW would put a different brand in the V'gons. But also
this could just have started midway through MY 1988? Who knows?
