Barry - The springs on my water, electrical and hose outlets rusted out years ago. I pondered the problem and glued velcro tapes inside the covers and onto the face of each outlet. It proved to be the perfect solution. Every five years or so, I just glue in new tapes. Try it. You'll like it! Dave Crossman 84 Westy 280,000 miles.
