Hello from Atlanta.  I recently purchased someone elses '81 "project van".
I have another exc+ '81 that is our daily driver.  I recently replaced all
fuel hoses inc. on top of  project van  gas tank.  My symptom:  I put key
in ignition, turn to activate fuel pump, and I hear and can feel fuel going
through the Pressure Regulator.  I replaced it with another, and fuel pump
continues to run and fuel continues to flow unabated through the reg. as
before. Van will start, run for few minutes, then stall, and fuel pressure
and fuel pump continue to cycle fuel.  My good '81 Pressure Regulator valve
and fuel pump do not act like this.   I have my Bentley out on my desk...
Questions:  What is the problem?  How do I fix this problem?
