I just picked up the stove face. It looks great. The triangles which indicate
the level have sharp corners rather than a radius. The guy who made it did have
brown plastic in stock which matched the surroundings so I had him make the part
up as an insert to the removeable panel and I'll just glue it in place. In
retrospect it might have been better to make up a whole face to replace the
metal panel which would have saved having to repaint it. The cost to have him
make up the panel was $20.00 Canadian but he said that now that he has got the
pattern he could do repeats of exactly the same for $10.00 + taxes and shipping.
Since I only own an 85 I'm not sure whether other panels are exactly the same.
Check a sign engraver in your area and see if its better to do it there, I'll
certainly contact the guy here if anyone wants one like mine.
