For those who'd like to investigate importing a gray-market vehicle, here
are some numbers to try.

South African (RSA) VW dealers:
Embassy Volkswagen, fax (41) 54-1125
Shelleys VW, shellven@mweb.co.za

The VW factory:
Volkswagen South Africa, vwemaster@icon.co.za

The RSA wreckers I have approached have either not replied or at the time,
June 1999, hadn't wrecked a Vanagon. He who replied was Supreme Spares
(Justus Harms) fax (21) 905-2583.
