I guess they are more afraid of the customer suing their pants off IF they
get injured.

I bought an Audi at the local dealer once, they let me use one lift to have
a good look at it's underside. They told me "Just take the time you need!"
Dunno if they let me watch the mech. fix my van though (HA! Like that will
ever happen!!)
