We seem to find that the south end of Death Valley or the Hot Springs at Canon de Guadalupe, Baja, work best for winter camping. No extension cords or kerosene required. Coffee? Our portable coffeemaker sits right on the Vanagon stove and makes expresso - also steams the milk. Cappuccino anyone? Ron Bloomquist http://www.mcn.org/b/roadcow/baja.html
