This is a follow-up to my problem posted under the heading

    Re:  Odometer/Speedometer come and go together

My thought is to drive without the instrument cluster to see if the
speedo cable thingie goes around.  Would that screw up the
computer for oil pressure or some dumb thing?  It won't HURT
anything to drive without the cluster will it?
