I tried to remove the plastic cover over the rear heater core on my 89 Carat. I was not able to get it off. It looks to me that the rear seat/bed needs to be removed in order to get the plastic cover off of the heater. Do you cut the plastic cover ? Subject: heater core replacement From: Brad Anderson <BAnderso@STARBUCKS.COM> Subject: Re: Heater Leak * Remove wooden kickstrip from seat frame (four self-tapping screws) * Remove fiberglass cover (six screws); this is not easy, it goes around the output vents. A good amount of pushing and pulling will free it. ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
