Get ready everybody --

Well, that's true. Who among us wants to volunteer to be that statistic?
Maybe even the "gun grabbers" will learn by default one day there is
something to the old adage:

" I'd rather be TRIED by twelve than CARRIED by six."

Yes, I believe you. Thugs abound. Got to protect yourself. But HOW in
this day and age? "Oh mercy mercy, that awful Vanagon driver shot the poor
robber with a butcher knife dead! He should be punished! He should only
have detained him briefly until the lawful policemen arrived to do their
duty!"
Then it's off to find a defense lawyer. For self-defense no less. What is
this world coming to? Oh, but this could never happen to you or me. Who
says we just have to sit back and take whatever comes our way?

Okay, its not life threatening (that I know of) but here's what happened
to me just a few days ago: In the Houston airport last Thursday, my cell
phone and sunglasses case were picked from pocket! Call me a dummy I
guess. Thief was good at it, for sure. Must have thought my black
sunglasses case was a wallet. At least he(she) didn't get that. Man, I
miss that phone. Did echo a bit though . . . Bell South will love the
bill they send me too from whomever is using the heck out of it. Took 4
days to reach cus. svc. to get it turned off!
Just venting a bit here. Give me a bit of space and I will be allright.

        Anyone seen a Nokia 2160?

: )
