Volks, Let me stir this pot a little... US Catalytic (manufactures and sell Olympic Heaters) offers a "safety model" that has an oxygen depletion sensor system on it. Couple this with good sense, a good CO sensor, the 300 dollars you saved, and it's seems like a pretty good deal. In my humblest opinion, of course. www.uscatalytic.com later. robyn
